Takeshi Kudo Exhibition

Takeshi Kudo Exhibition

I have tried to create ceramic works that incorporate my present into the passage of time, recalling things I have seen and landscapes I have passed through in the past.

I did not have a specific theme in mind, and my motifs were the Indian subcontinent, Islam, natural history such as stones, plants, and stars, and archaeological sites,,,, all of which have interested me since I was young, and I paid attention to only one point in the ceramic work where these motifs were utilized.

I hope that the high-temperature glaze of the main firing and the low-temperature overglaze painting will correspond well to create a complex but memorable work.

In this solo exhibition, 50-60 pieces will be exhibited, including tea sets, sake cups, flower vases, pots, coffee cups and so on.

We hope you will take this opportunity to view his free-spirited and ambitious works, which are not limited to existing forms and images.
