The fascination of the material glass arises from its relationship with light, which fascinates me through its transmission, reflection, and refraction, as well as the phenomena created by their combination. Glass exists because of light, and we become aware of light by allowing it to pass through glass. I hope that through my works, people can feel the fascination of glass in their daily lives. For this exhibition, I am working mainly on the “Highlights” series, which are carved out of thick glass and decorated with stud-shaped ornaments, and I am also trying new series. My works are basically created through the process of shaving. This is the time I spend facing the material of glass, and the glass that emerges after that time shows various expressions. Please come and see the light of the sharpened and polished glass. This exhibition will feature approximately 100 pieces, including vases, glasses, sake cups, small bowls, bowls, Lighting, and objects. Please take this opportunity to visit the exhibition.
