We will  hold a solo exhibition by Koutaro Uranaka, who creates metalworks in Kanazawa city, Ishikawa Prefecture. He creates his works using rain and snow as motifs and explores how he can express the texture of metal by incorporating these elements from his memory into his designs. He creates his works using the metal forging technique, in which a sheet of metal is struck over a fire and struck again over a fire… This process is repeated dozens of times until the work is finally completed. The exhibition will feature about 50 pieces, including vases, sculpture, sake cups, etc. We are sincerely looking forward to you visiting this exhibition.
