We will hold a solo exhibition of Kanazawa-based glass artist Kazuma Tominaga.
Like the ridges of mountains, the topography of seashores, and the wrinkles in our skin, I believe that things that are formed by nature over a long period of time, and things that are born from changes over time, have a mystique that cannot be found in man-made objects.
As I interact with the material of glass and discern the moment when the glass begins to speak to me, I feel a sense of mystery that cannot be found in man-made objects.
I created the works in this exhibition with a sense of prayer and gratitude to nature, hoping that I could get closer to this view.
This exhibition will feature about 50 pieces, including Objects, tea ceremony utensils, vases and sake cups. We hope you will visit the exhibition.
