We will be holding a solo exhibition by Kutani ware artist Chiharu Hayasuke from Saturday, December 13th. This exhibition will feature approximately 40 pieces, including sake sets, flower vases, plates, cups & saucers, ornaments, lampshades, and accessories. We cordially invite you to view the works during this special opportunity.
While my work has primarily focused on painting, this year I began exploring the shaping of the clay body itself. This deepens my engagement with each piece, allowing me to find joy in both the act of forming and the act of painting. I strive to create works that carry a delicate and tranquil atmosphere. I would be delighted if my pieces could become treasures for someone, bringing a moment of gentle warmth to their heart when they happen to catch sight of them in daily life. (Chiharu Hayasuke)
