As children, we have all had the experience of spending sleepless nights listening to scary stories. The artist, having similar experiences, is drawn to scary stories and works with themes of ghosts, monsters, and aliens, but understands that they do not exist in reality. The exhibition “Shoufuchu” is an expression of his feelings that such scary beings are interesting and fascinating and that he would like to experience such a world himself, drawing the reader into his world.
